Sonya Hussyn says Human Trafficking isn't Talked About Enough f

“This is the dark side of society which we do not know about."

Sonya Hussyn discussed human trafficking and stated that it is not discussed enough.

She appeared on Mazaaq Raat and shared her views on love with Imran Ashraf, admitting that she was unsure of love in her life but that there was a possibility.

Sonya admitted she was too busy to think about love but that one shouldn’t give up on finding love due to one bad experience.

Delving into human trafficking, Sonya said it is a subject that is not spoken about enough.

Sonya detailed information about individuals who were drawn into the world of drugs and were then abused by their captors before being sent to brothels.

Sharing her opinion, Sonya said: “This is the dark side of society which we do not know about.

“I thought if such a character ever comes my way, I should do it and convey what is happening to people and how.”

Sonya then revealed that she would be playing such a character in an upcoming project.

Imran asked her to elaborate on her thoughts of hatred to which Sonya replied she thought it was a phase.

“You can take offence to what someone says, but the person who knows how to love, I don’t think they’ve ever learned the expression of hatred.”

Speaking on the subject of love, the actress said:

“You know how many scripts there are, whatever show is going on all channels, those scripts are at your place.

“But it’s very rare to find a tale that touches your heart. Where, when you read it, you either start crying or laughing, or you feel you’re experiencing the romance in the story.

“Thank God we are actors, because I think love and romance are limited to stories.”

After listening to her comment, Imran asked Sonya if she felt that there was a lack of love in the world.

She responded: “I think there is a dearth of professing love. When love is professed, one feels good.

“The ones who know how to love can differentiate.”

During the interview, Imran revealed that Sonya had bought a house for her parents and the gesture was met with appreciative applause from the studio audience.

Sonya Hussyn said it was the happiest moment in her life and something she would always remember.

After the show ended, Sonya took to Instagram to congratulate Imran and his team for their hospitality towards her during the recording.

Sonya wrote:

“It was an absolute honour to be a part of the show. I must say that Mazaaq Raat is truly an extraordinary family show.”

“The cast and crew displayed the utmost respect and affection, creating a wonderful atmosphere.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the three living legends, Janab Honey Albela, Janab Sakhawat Naz and Janab Sardar Jamal for their exceptional sense of humour.

“Their brilliance added an unparalleled charm to the show and of course, a special shoutout to the main energy Imran.

“You have breathed new life into Mazaaq Raat. Here’s to countless more incredible episodes!”
