“Darling, please give us some space"

Nausheen Shah hit back at a troll who claimed that actresses took part in bridal shoots because they were unable to get married in real life.

The comment came after an image of Nausheen was shared on Instagram.

Dressed in an Ali Xeeshan outfit, Nausheen walked the ramp at the Bridal Couture Week in Lahore.

The user wrote: “I do feel sorry for these actresses, many of them don’t get married and just keep modelling bridal dresses.”

Not one to hold back, Nausheen hit back at the hater:

“Darling, please give us some space and let’s not feel pity for each other, especially when we don’t know each other.

“Getting married is not in anyone’s hands and it is Allah who pairs people thank you.”

Social media users agreed with Nausheen’s comment and shared their own opinions on the post.

One follower wrote: “It’s part of their work! Do people think that models take part in bridal shoots because they wish to be brides?”

Another said: “Can’t we stay quiet if we can’t say anything nice to others? We are getting toxic day by day.”

A third added: “How can a literate woman say something like this?

“Very well done Nausheen for showing her how literate women should sound instead of pleasing the misogynistic men of society.”

Nausheen Shah is known for her blunt personality and has often caused a stir online with her comments.

One comment she made in particular was aimed towards Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.

On the talk show Hadh Kar Di, Nausheen was asked by host Momin Saqib if she had met anyone from Bollywood.

She replied that she had not, but had a desire to meet Kangana.

When Momin asked her why, Nausheen replied:

“The way she says sh** about my country, the way she says a lot of crap about the Pakistan army, I salute her audacity.

“She does not know but talks about the country, that too someone else’s country. Focus on your own country, focus on your acting.

“You know, you focus on your acting, your direction. You focus on your controversies and ex-boyfriends and whatnot.

“How do you know people are mistreated in Pakistan? How do you know about the Pakistan army or the agencies?

“We don’t know the agencies are in our country, the army is our country’s, they don’t share these things with us. They’re secrets are they not?”
