Late rapper and singer Sidhu Moose Wala was recently paid a tribute at Times Square, New York, where a few billboards played parts of his music videos.
The clip also showed people stopping by and watching the videos, as some fans even imitated his trademark step of slapping his thigh.
People clicked photos of the massive billboards and in front of it, a clip also displayed a photograph of Sidhu with his mother.
People in the comments section were overwhelmed and rushed to pay their respects to the late artist.
One user wrote: “Nobody can beat our legend.”
Another wrote: “Rest in power, legend.”
A third commented on the video: “Waheguru Ji bless his soul, he deserves all this, will be missed always.”
The video of the Times Square building has gone viral on social media.
Sidhu Moose Wala would have turned 29 on June 11. But days before that he was shot by unidentified assailants in Punjab.
On his birthday, a special video was shared by Navraj Hans on Sidhu’s Instagram page that comprised of his several childhood and throwback pictures and clips.
Sidhu Moose Wala was killed a day after the Punjab government lifted the security cover of 424 people, including the singer.
His cousin and a friend, who was travelling in a jeep with him, were also injured in the attack.

The popular Punjabi rapper and singer was cremated at his native village in Mansa, in the presence of his family members and thousands of fans.
His family organised an Antim Ardas ceremony for him on May 8, 2022.
Pune police have detained Santosh Jadhav, a shooter in the case, an official said on June 13, 2022.
Pune rural police also apprehended Jadhav’s aide, a suspect in the murder case.
Santosh Jadhav, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been detained in a 2021 murder case registered at Manchar police station in Pune district, the official said.
He was on the run for a year.
Canada-based Goldy Brar, who is a member of the Bishnoi gang, had claimed responsibility for the murder.
Mika Singh, who turned a year older on June 10, had said that he would not be celebrating his birthday in 2022 as a mark of respect for the unfortunate deaths of fellow singers Sidhu Moose Wala and KK.
