Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has given birth to a baby boy.
He is Ghoshal’s first child, and she shares him with her husband Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya.
The singer welcomed her new son on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
Shreya Ghoshal first announced her pregnancy to the world via an Instagram post on March 4, 2021.
Now, she has opted for this method once again to announce the birth of her first child.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, May 22, 2021, Ghoshal released a small statement saying:
“God has blessed us with a precious baby boy this afternoon.
“It’s an emotion never felt before.
“Shiladitya and I along with our families are absolutely overjoyed.
“Thank you for your countless blessings for our little bundle of joy.”
Messages of congratulations poured in for the new parents.
Singer Neeti Mohan said: “Many many congratulations. This is such wonderful news.
“Hope you and the baby are doing well. Lots of love and congratulations from the Mohan and Pandya family.”
Shekhar Ravjiani also showed his support, saying: “Congratulations!!! Big love.”
Playback singer Raj Pandit passed on his best wishes, commenting:
“@shreyaghoshal Yayyy congratulationsss! Wish you all love and good health!”

She shared a picture of herself cradling her bump. The caption read:
“Baby #Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all.
“Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”
Shreya Ghoshal kept her fans updated throughout her pregnancy journey, and shared precious milestones such as her baby shower.
However, she is yet to reveal a photo of the baby, and his name remains unknown.
On the work front, a song performed by Shreya Ghoshal is due to feature in the upcoming web series Broken But Beautiful 3.
The series stars Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee.
However, Ghoshal has also been taking the time to encourage her followers to do their part in the fight against Covid-19.
India is currently battling its way through a ferocious second wave of the virus, and many celebrities are joining the cause.
On April 23, 2021, Shreya Ghoshal took to Instagram to urge her followers to adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols.
In a short statement, she encouraged everyone to wear masks and only meet people when absolutely necessary.
