One of India’s most loved playback singers, Shreya Ghoshal, took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy on March 4, 2021.
She shared a picture where she was seen wearing a blue dress, flaunting her baby bump.
In the post she wrote:
“Baby Shreyaditya is on its way! @shiladitya and me are thrilled to share this news with you all.
“Need all your love and blessings as we prepare ourselves for this new chapter in our lives.”

Bollywood was ecstatic by the news and comments and wishes full of love started pouring in.

Shreya Ghoshal and Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya had been dating for a long period before they got married in February 2015.

Earlier in 2021, Shreya took to Instagram to wish her husband a happy anniversary.
“Happy 6th anniversary to us #Shreyaditya. Every time you walk into the room, I still get butterflies. I love you Shiladitya.”
Shreya Ghoshal gained popularity after her work in the superhit Devdas, released in 2002.
She sung the songs ‘Silsila Ye Chaahat Ka’, ‘Bairi Piya’, ‘Chalak Chalak’, ‘Morey Piya’, and ‘Dola Re Dola’ for the film.
Her success resulted in her first National Film Award for Best Playback Singer.
Shreya has won four National Film Awards and six Filmfare Awards.
She has continued to please the audiences by giving hit numbers such as ‘Chikni Chameli’, ‘Sun Raha Hai’, ‘Piyu Bole’, ‘Jadu Hai Nasha Hai’ and ‘Manwa Lage’.
Shreya Ghoshal’s latest single Angana Morey was released recently.
The song has been sung, composed, and written by her, while her brother, Soumyadeep Ghoshal, has done the music production.
Apart from being a playback singer for some of the most loved films, Shreya has also hosted a number of reality shows.
The year 2021 has come bearing good news for the film fraternity.
Earlier this year, in January, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were blessed with a baby girl.
In February, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their second son.
Now, joining the two above, Shreya Ghoshal is set to join the mommy squad.
