Taking the ninja route, Yashma wore a black and red fitted jumpsuit paired with knee-length boots.

She allowed her brunette hair to fall naturally down her shoulders.

But while Sharmila received positive comments for her outfit, Yashma faced criticism, with many expressing their disappointment.

One person wrote: “So disappointed in Pakistani celebrities.

“They are nowhere being responsible and raising their voice for the righteous and needful cause, except for a few.

“Shame on the Pakistani drama industry.

“They’ll jump on doing anything that sounds fun and trendy just to prove themselves cool without even thinking about the background of that.”

Another added:

“I did not expect this from you Yashma. Shame shame shame.”

A third said: “Do you have no shame celebrating Halloween when the children of Palestine are living Halloween in reality?”

Many individuals added that with all the atrocities taking place in the world it was important for social media users to post cautiously and show sensitivity in these testing times.

Celebrities were advised to be mindful before posting their content as many have been deemed inappropriate in light of current affairs and were asked to use their platforms to raise awareness instead.
