Sanam Jung details Living with Parents after Marriage

Sanam Jung revealed how things changed following her decision to continue living with her parents after marriage.

Sanam Jung recently appeared on The Shoaib Akhtar Show and spoke about how things changed after she continued living with her parents after getting married.

She highlighted how being married had brought significant changes in her habits and viewpoints on how she saw and understood things.

Shoaib Akhtar asked what changes did she make after getting married, to which Sanam replied:

“Absolutely nothing.”

She elaborated on her answer and said she did not feel like she was married because she was still living with her parents.

“I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy living with my parents and not go through any transition so far.”

The morning show host and actress married Syed Abdul Qassam in an intimate ceremony in 2016, and together they have a daughter Alaya Jaffri.

Shoaib asked Sanam if she found herself enjoying acting or motherhood more, to which she replied being a mother was different and beautiful.

She also shed light on the life of a working mother and said that when she was at work, she found herself constantly thinking about her daughter and whether she was okay at home.

Sanam Jung openly admitted that she would find it extremely difficult to choose between acting and hosting and that she missed each profession when she was working on the other.

“While hosting, and if it’s live, you get feedback very quickly. You miss acting when you’re hosting, and vice versa.”

Sanam Jung made her acting debut in 2013 in the drama serial Dil-e-Muztar and ended up being nominated for ‘Best Television Sensation (Female)’ at the Hum Awards.

In 2015, she won the Hum Award for ‘Best Onscreen Couple’ for Alvida in which she worked alongside Imran Abbas Naqvi.

She was the host of the popular morning show Jago Pakistan Jago for which she received much love and appreciation for her natural hosting skills.

She has appeared in dramas such as Mein Na Janoo, Mohabbat Subh Ka Sitara Hai and Mere Humdum Mere Dost.

Sanam has worked with the likes of Imran Abbas Naqvi, Affan Waheed, Aijaz Aslam, Sarwat Gilani and Mikaal Zulfikar.

She is set to star in the upcoming serial Ab Nahi Mileinge Hum, directed by Kashif Saleem.

The drama stars Affan Waheed, Komal Meer and Agha Ali. The release date has not yet been confirmed.
