Salman Khan, Bollywood’s eternal bachelor, has long been the subject of speculation regarding his marital status.
Known for his charm, wit, and unpredictable responses, Salman once again caught everyone off guard at the Star Screen Awards.
His unexpected statement quickly set the room abuzz, surprising the audience.
At the Star Screen Awards, Shah Rukh Khan asked Salman about his plans to get married.
But Salman’s answer shocked everyone.
He casually said: “The secret is that I have already gotten married.”
The audience tried to figure out if Salman was serious or joking.
A stunned Shah Rukh asked: “What? You are already married?”
Salman continued: “Those who keep bothering me, asking about my marriage plans. I am fed up of telling this lie – 18 November, 18 November.”
SRK continued to probe: “Where did you get married?”
Salman replied: “We have been married for some time now.
“I have hid this fact from the world but it came out today in front of you and I might tell the whole world now.
But when Shah Rukh continued to ask, Salman bluntly said:
“In my dreams.”
Salman’s response had the whole audience erupt in laughter.
Shah Rukh, while laughing, asked: “Whom did you marry in your dreams?”
Salman then explained: “Whenever the girl enters my dream, I feel nervous and I wake up. So, I have never seen the girl.”
This further had the audience and SRK in splits who then joked about how many girls want to marry Salman, but even in his dreams, he gets nervous at the thought of marriage.
Salman Khan, who has been linked with several leading ladies over the years, continues to keep everyone guessing.
Salman Khan is currently rumoured to be dating Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur, however, nothing has been confirmed.
Famous for his bachelorhood and past relationships, Salman has kept fans eagerly anticipating news of his marriage for years.
In another interview on Aap Ki Adalat, Salman Khan talked about his wish to become a father, revealing that he doesn’t see marriage as a top priority.
He expressed his strong desire to have children but noted that Indian laws pose some restrictions.
Salman humorously added that while having a mother is important for raising children, his future wife would also play the role of their mother.
On the professional front, Salman and SRK have appeared in special cameos in each other’s films.
Salman Khan appeared in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, while SRK made a special appearance in Salman’s Tiger 3, both part of YRF’s Spy Universe.
