"Is this what you support Alia?"

The popular television actress Rupali Ganguly recently sparked a major online debate by sharing a controversial video on Instagram.

This specific video clip strongly criticised Bollywood star Alia Bhatt for her recent fashion choices during Milan Fashion Week.

Her fans noticed that the actress shared the post without adding any personal comments.

Many social media users interpreted this move as a subtle disapproval of the luxury items worn by the actress.

Rupali Ganguly is well known for being an extremely vocal advocate for animal welfare and various animal rights issues.

The original content was created by Sai Lohith, who raised serious questions regarding the leather used by the brand.

Alia Bhatt attended the prestigious global fashion event as the primary brand ambassador for the famous luxury label Gucci.

The video alleged that her outfit featured leather that was sourced from very young animals like lambs and calves.

It claimed that the materials used were taken from three-month-old baby calves and four-month-old baby lambs.

The creator of the video directly addressed the Bollywood star by asking: “Is this what you support Alia?”

Specific accessories like the Gucci Horsebit 1955 shoulder bag were also highlighted as being harmful to the animal population.

The speaker in the video made a very emotional appeal by mentioning the beloved pet cat of the actress.

He asked: “Your cat, Edward, how would you feel if someone murdered your son and used his skin to make bags and shoes?”

The video also accused the high-end fashion brand of exploiting various animals, such as snakes and crocodiles.

Other animals mentioned in the accusations included silkworms, along with cows, sheep, and goats.

The discussion also pointed out a perceived contradiction with the personal initiative of the actress known as CoExist.

This specific initiative by the star promotes a message of harmony between the human race and the animal kingdom.

The video creator criticised her and said:

“If this is the idea of your coexistence, then the animals are doomed.”

People online are now questioning if the star truly follows the values she promotes through her environmental fashion brand.

Many fans are eagerly waiting to see if Alia Bhatt will address the concerns raised by the animal rights activists.

The original video has gained thousands of views and has been shared across many different social media platforms.
