KVN Productions has issued a stern warning following the illegal leak of Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated film Jana Nayagan.

The production house confirmed that major portions of the movie were accessed and shared across various online pirate platforms.

“Certain scenes and, in some cases, most of the film have been illegally accessed, copied, and circulated by unidentified individuals.”

This massive security breach represents a serious threat of digital piracy for the producers and the entire film crew.

The makers are now urging all violators to delete any clips and have warned of severe legal action immediately.

Every digital action is traceable, so they have already begun necessary investigations to find offenders.

“Strict civil and criminal proceedings will be pursued against every offender without exception.”

Sharing leaked clips on platforms like WhatsApp or YouTube is a criminal offence and violates existing copyright laws today.

The production team noted that they have filed official complaints against those involved in the chain of illegal circulation.

Jana Nayagan is the farewell film for Vijay, who is moving into a full-time career in politics very soon.

This massive project was reportedly made on a budget of 500 crore rupees by the owners of KVN.

It was originally scheduled to hit theatres on January 9, 2026, but faced significant delays due to the certification process.

The Central Board of Film Certification flagged certain scenes that could potentially hurt the sentiments of the general public.

There was a month-long legal standoff between the filmmakers and the board regarding the content of the movie.

Eventually, the makers decided to withdraw their legal case and sent the film to the revision committee for approval.

Despite these efforts, the film has not yet received its official certification from the board as of this week.

Reports suggest that the delay is also linked to Vijay contesting in the upcoming Tamil Nadu state assembly elections.

The film is described as a commercial drama with many political undertones that reflect the star’s current public ambitions.

Public members have been strongly advised not to engage with any leaked footage to avoid potential legal consequences.

Opening or storing the files on personal devices is considered a violation of strict copyright laws in the country.

The makers are working tirelessly to ensure that the hard work of the entire team is not ruined by piracy.

Fans of the actor are also being asked to report any links they find on social media sites immediately.
