"She’s more than what meets the eye."
SS Rajamouli has unveiled actor Priyanka Chopra’s first look from his upcoming film, tentatively titled GlobeTrotter, sparking widespread excitement.
Chopra will portray Mandakini, and her first look shows her wearing a bright yellow saree while balancing on a cliff and aiming a gun.
The director shared the poster on social media, writing:
“The woman who redefined Indian Cinema on the global stage. Welcome back, Desi Girl!
“Can’t wait for the world to witness your myriad shades of MANDAKINI.”
Priyanka also posted the look, describing her character:
“She’s more than what meets the eye… say hello to Mandakini.”
Mahesh Babu, another lead in the film, shared the poster, adding: “And now she arrives…Meet MANDAKINI.”
Fans were quick to react to Priyanka’s dramatic avatar.
One wrote: “OMG Priyanka Chopra as Mandakini? BOX OFFICE TSUNAMI!”
Another commented: “Priyanka, that Mandakini poster is pure fire!”
The poster shows Priyanka Chopra with her hair tied back in a braid, traditional jewellery including jumkas and a bindi, and kolhapuri sandals.
Her look blends classic Indian elements with action-ready intensity.
Little is officially known about the plot, but the story is expected to feature Mahesh Babu in the lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist Kumbha.
The team is planning a major event at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad on November 15, 2025, where the film’s official title is expected to be announced.
The event will be live-streamed on JioHotstar, allowing fans nationwide to participate.

In a recent AMA session on X, Priyanka shared that her daughter, Malti Marie, had a delightful time on set in Hyderabad.
She played with Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara and even visited Rajamouli’s farm.
The actor said: “My daughter has been to set in Hyderabad and she had the best time with Mahesh and Namrata’s beautiful daughter Sitara, and went to Rajamouli’s farm and met a calf. Her favourite memory.”
Priyanka also revealed that her husband, Nick Jonas, has been learning about Indian culture and has picked up a few Hindi words.
Responding to a fan, she said: “Khana, paani, pyaar, paneer, but I think he picked it all up himself!”
The upcoming film will mark Priyanka Chopra’s return to Indian cinema after six years, following her last performance in The Sky is Pink (2019).
Her powerful first look suggests that Mandakini will be a memorable, action-driven character.
