"I think my faced is f****d!"
In 2024, an incident involving two brothers at Manchester Airport shook the nation.
Mohammed Fahir Amaaz and Muhammad Amaad allegedly launched a violent attack at Terminal 2 on July 23, 2024.
Amaaz was subsequently charged with assaulting three officers named PC Marsden, PC Cook, and PC Lydia Ward.
PC Ward was said to have suffered significant injuries to her face, including a broken nose.
On July 10, 2025, a clip purported to show PC Ward moments after being attacked emerged on social media.
The policewoman was seen sobbing about the damage to her bloodied face in the Manchester terminal.
Her colleagues were trying to calm her down and assuring her that things were going to be okay.
PC Ward was said to have been “left terrified as the incident unfolded”.
In the clip, the constable cried: “I think my face is f****d!
“He f****d up my nose. He f****d up my face!”
The officers around her kept telling her: “You’re fine. We’ll deal with it.”
Warning: The following clip contains scenes that some may find distressing.
New footage of one of the police officers who was assaulted and had her nose broken in last year’s Manchester Airport attack.

While the clip showed a horrific incident, not all users reacted compassionately to PC Ward’s attack.
Some felt that her reaction suggested that she was unfit to be a police officer.
One person said: “If you can’t keep your composure over a broken nose, you should not be in law enforcement.”
Another wrote: “Is being a UK police officer a cosplay job?
“She very obviously should not be a cop. Sorry, not sorry.”
Another user reacted to the clip in a sexist manner and said: “Women shouldn’t be ground soldiers or street cops.
“They’re not fit for hand-to-hand combat with an average male.”
However, several people defended PC Ward.
One user said: “People saying that she shouldn’t be a police officer can just sort off.
“Even a policeman, if he was punched the way she was, would be in the same condition.”
Another person wrote: “I feel for the officer in the video. It should never have happened and I hope she is doing okay now.
“But that being said, this is what DEI hires in positions like this look like in this world.
“She clearly signed onto the police being told it’s all sunshine and roses and not prepared for something like this to happen.
“This is not her fault in the slightest. It is the department’s fault.”
Meanwhile, a jury recently heard that Amaaz and Amaad headbutted a Starbucks customer before the attack at Manchester Airport.
The brothers denied the charges against them, claiming they acted in lawful self-defense.
