Deepika seemed to ignore her husband.
Since their marriage in 2018, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been touted as one of Bollywood’s most popular couples.
The pair met on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela (2013).
They began dating in 2012 and went on to appear together in Bajirao Mastani (2015), Padmaavat (2018), and 83 (2021).
In September 2024, the couple welcomed their first child – a daughter named Dua.
However, a recent post on social media suggested that Ranveer Singh deserved better than Deepika.
Posting a video on X with the hashtag, “I hate my husband”, the user included several questionable clips.
The clips each showed Ranveer and Deepika at public events.
In the clips, Deepika seemed to ignore her husband and walk in front of him with other people.
One clip showed Deepika standing at a considerable distance away from Ranveer.
The videos attracted mixed responses from viewers. Some defended Deepika.
One fan said: “I don’t know why she even married this clown.”
Another declared: “A c**k is getting what he asked for.”
Meanwhile, other users called Deepika out for her alleged behaviour.
One person questionably wrote: “You shouldn’t marry hardcore feminists.”

Then, too, some netizens voiced concerns that Deepika was apparently ignoring Ranveer Singh.
However, others defended the couple, with one person commenting:
“She’s just trying to manage her outfit. And he’s being a gentleman about it.”
Another user said: “If they hold hands, people will say they are showing off.
“If they are not holding hands, people will say they are having problems.
“You can’t please people. They are the most genuine and generous couple.”
Ranveer and Deepika were the first celebrities to appear on the eighth season of Koffee With Karan in 2023.
The love between the couple was evident, as Ranveer sat close to his wife during the majority of the episode.
A video of their wedding was also played in the episode – a sight which brought host Karan Johar to tears.
During the Rapid Fire segment, Karan asked Deepika: “How does Ranveer wake you up in the morning?”
Deepika replied: “With love. With a lot of love.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King.
Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Dhurandhar.
The film boasts a star-studded cast which also includes Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, and R Madhavan.
