In a recent podcast, Pakistani actress Navin Waqar shared her thoughts on keeping her personal life away from social media.

She emphasised the challenges of maintaining transparency online, whilst also keeping private affairs private.

Shedding the light on the darker side of the industry, she said:

“I have been divorced for seven years, but I have never talked about it on social media.

“Some people talk about their divorce to remain in the headlines.”

After Kiran Ashfaque and Faryal Mehmood’s discussion on divorce, her statement could be seen as indirectly referencing them.

After her divorce, Navin talked about struggling with trusting people. She said that people now have to earn her trust by proving their loyalty.

Navin further mentioned that she has become more cautious and sceptical about letting new people into her life.

During the podcast, Navin talked about the important things in relationships. She said that respect is crucial and without it, true love can’t happen.

She also mentioned the significance of recognising red flags in relationships to avoid repeating the same mistakes all over again.

Divorce stigma was also one of the things she talked about. She shared that some people hide their divorces and pretend everything is fine. But

Navin believes in staying true to her values and has chosen not to discuss her divorce publicly.

Navin Waqar is known for her roles in hit dramas like Humsafar. She has also worked in Lollywood films like Besharam.
