"your PR activities are not getting you any sympathy"
Rozlyn Khan caused controversy by accusing Hina Khan of using her cancer treatment for publicity.
Hina announced she had Stage Three breast cancer in June 2024.
Despite the diagnosis, she has continued with work commitments and attending events.
Fans have called her inspiring, however, Rozlyn Khan has claimed Hina is using her cancer treatment for publicity.
The actress, who is a cancer survivor and works for a breast cancer awareness programme, raised questions about Hina’s comments about having a 15-hour surgery, claiming she “exaggerated” facts for “headlines”.
In the video, Rozlyn stated that Hina is often seen at expensive restaurants and hotels after her treatments.
She highlighted that cancer patients have many dos and don’ts in terms of diet and lifestyle.
Rozlyn slammed Hina for displaying her privileged life while some cancer patients struggle to afford a wig and often lose their battle.
She also accused Hina of not sharing the reality of cancer, including showing her shaved head and how the treatment went.
“She is keeping everyone in the dark because she knows that the knowledgeable people will catch her lies as there are standard rules for each stage of breast cancer treatment.”
In a lengthy note on Instagram, Rozlyn wrote:
“Hunger for limelight can take you anywhere I heard and it’s proven by a few so-called celebs!
“Things were planned around your new releases quite well! Congratulations Hina Khan.”
Challenging Hina to share details of her cancer treatment, Rozlyn Khan added:
“Please share details of the treatment you have gone through for fellow cancer patients/survivors and oncologists to discuss in future.
“I’m sorry your PR activities are not getting you any sympathy because you were showing off too much during your treatment, better luck next time with such PR activities!”
Rozlyn, who is a cancer survivor, claimed Hina is spreading misinformation and misguiding her fans.
“It’s okay if you don’t have sympathy for cancer patients, but at least don’t spread misinformation like Karma, Ayurvedic nuska, and jaadu tona.
“All this is getting too much.”

“Such a b******t thing to speak about anyone, go have some sympathy!”
Another told her: “Shut up.”
A third posted: “What a disgusting thing to say about someone.”
However, some sided with Rozlyn Khan as one commented:
“She just used cancer to be in the news.”
Another added: “She is spreading lies that is why no one is supporting Hina.”
