"I choose to accept my battle scars."
Hina Khan took to her Instagram profile to bravely share her new look.
In June 2024, the actress revealed that she had been diagnosed with Stage Three breast cancer.
Since the news, Hina has been posting inspiring messages from her treatment journey.
The television star recently announced that she had decided to shave her head.
Sharing a video of her having the cut, Hina wrote:
“The pixie says ADIOS. It’s time to BUZZ it off!
“Here’s another attempt to normalise the hardest phase of this journey, aesthetically speaking.
“Remember ladies… our strength is our patience and calm.
“If we put our minds to it nothing is unattainable. Mind over matter.”
In the video, Hina also stated: “You can win this only if you embrace yourself.
“Accept it, and I choose to accept my battle scars. Because I believe if you embrace yourself, you are one step closer to your healing.
“I really want to heal and focus on that aspect of my life.
“I don’t want to endure that process where every time I put my hand in my hair, a bunch of hair falls out.
“It’s very stressful, depressing and I don’t want to go through that.
“I want to take the steps that are in my control before that.
“I also want to tell you all that if your mental health is right, then your physical health becomes 10 times better.
“So to focus on your physical health, you’ve got to also focus on your mental health.
“Mental health is in my control, so I really want to work on it and stay positive, and happy and do all the things to make sure that I’m not mentally stressed in my journey.
“There will be physical pain but I want to do all the things so that I can decrease my mental stress.”
Hina Khan then held up a razor and called it “one of those things”.
She continued: “To all you people out there who are going through these tough times, especially women, I know how hard it is.
“It’s very stressful and painful. Don’t put yourself through all this.
“Just simply buzz it off before it starts falling.
“That’s what I’m going to do and remember you are still you. Nothing is going to change.
“In fact, you are more beautiful so embrace this new version of yourself and this new journey.
“I feel I’m going to carry this bald look quite well when I do it.
“I’m going to put on a wig wherever necessary but I am also going to carry this bald head which I’m going to have proudly.”
