Pictures from Dania Shah’s unexpected second wedding have gone viral.
Her new husband, Hakeem Shahzad, had reportedly represented Dania during her legal battle with the family of her late spouse Aamir Liaquat.
Dania and Hakeem recently enjoyed their wedding reception, marking their first public appearance as a couple.
Hakeem opened up about the marriage, revealing he presented extravagant gifts to Dania as part of their marriage.
These include a house, a luxury car, a substantial sum of cash, and opulent gold jewellery.
Despite his initial intentions of a fleeting affair, Hakeem confessed to falling for Dania’s innocence.
He said: “I haven’t seen a more pure woman in this world.
“Everything they say about her character is false. She is entirely the opposite of what I had heard.”
When queried about her feelings towards Hakeem, Dania described him as a genuine and transparent individual, highlighting his virtues.
She revealed: “He is a very good person. He doesn’t have a fake personality he is very transparent.”
Pressed about her ongoing legal battle against her former husband’s family, Dania Shah affirmed her pursuit of justice.
She claimed: “I will have what is my right. He was my husband for a time. The court will decide what is right.”
Responding to questions about her affection towards her new husband, Dania stated that with the formalisation of Nikkah, love often blossoms naturally.
She emphasised the significance of this sacred bond, saying:
“When Nikkah is official, the woman does fall in love with her man.”
Facing a barrage of criticism and hate following her second marriage, Dania stood her ground.
She asserted that entering into Nikkah is not a crime but a personal choice.
Defending her decision, she emphasised the importance of a woman’s need for support and companionship.
“I have done Nikkah, not a crime. Every woman needs a man’s support.
“I made the decision after contemplating a lot.”
Hakeem Shahzad faced questions regarding a video where it was reported that he was Dania Shah’s lawyer.
He said: “I randomly made a TikTok saying I am her lawyer and it went viral. I didn’t know what to say because I was confused by her.”
Although Hakeem Shahzad is a lawyer, he has not represented Dania.
Her actual lawyer Liaquat Gabol said:
“I am not the same lawyer whom Dania Shah married, it was another lawyer named Hakeem Shahzad.”
