The actress recently posted a vlog on her YouTube channel addressing the backlash and toxic comments she has received.

In her vlog, Shagufta Ejaz expressed her pain over hurtful remarks, stating:

“There are a few comments that really hurt me. Many have speculated about my family.

“My husband has been battling cancer for five years, and we have been caring for him throughout this difficult time.

“Were you with me during these years?”

She emphasised the challenges her family has faced while managing her husband Yahya’s medical treatments.

Shagufta explained that her trip to Dubai was not a holiday but a necessary journey.

“You haven’t seen me going through thick and thin in these years, but you got so critical of me after spotting me in Dubai as if I am on any vacation.”

She revealed that her money had been confiscated by the government:

“I needed to get it functional because all my money was transferred into their account.”

She also mentioned selling personal items to gather funds, highlighting the financial difficulties she’s been navigating.

“I came here to get it restored because I needed money.

“Secondly, I had to sell my bags and had to collect money, one of the tasks has been completed and the other one is still pending.”

Addressing her critics, she said: “I have always been part of the showbiz industry and have supported my daughters’ education.

“The property I sold in London was mine, purchased through my own efforts.”

She revealed that her marriage to Yahya was motivated by a desire to provide her daughters with a father figure.

“I married Yahya, just to provide my daughters a father figure because my daughter Anya used to miss her father.”

Shagufta concluded with a heartfelt plea for understanding, urging viewers to reconsider their harsh judgments.

She added: “I am really sad about all the criticism I have been receiving.

“Please think before being so critical and venomous toward others. I will not forgive the hate directed at me.”
