"While everyone’s experience is so different, there are shared truths."
Narinder Kaur has confirmed the upcoming release of her book Big Brother: The Inside Story, which is a deep-dive into the iconic reality show.
She confirmed the news live on Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine on April 7, just as Celebrity Big Brother continues to dominate headlines once again.
First published by Virgin Books in 2007, The Inside Story became a fan favourite for its deep dive into the cultural juggernaut.
Now, 25 years after Big Brother changed British television, Narinder has reclaimed the rights and expanded it with explosive new content.
Big Brother shaped the landscape of modern reality TV, mirrored British society and ignited national debates and even international incidents.

Speaking about the book, Narinder Kaur said:
“Going back in time and hearing the housemates’ stories has been surreal.
“While everyone’s experience is so different, there are shared truths.
“From Fight Night to the infamous hot tub scenes and Kinga’s bottle moment, it’s all here, straight from the horse’s mouth. You won’t be disappointed!”
The book includes stories from contestants across every era, from Ultimate Big Brother to the latest Celebrity and civilian series.
It also includes reflections from top entertainment journalists who covered the show from day one.
Contributors include Hannah Fernando, former Heat editor and current Group Editor at Woman and Home; Boyd Hilton, Entertainment Director at Heat; and Sharon Marshall, This Morning’s long-time TV expert.
They offer media insight into the show’s impact, from scandal and headlines to its influence on reality TV and British celebrity culture.
Narinder, known for her outspoken views since her time as a housemate in 2001, promises the book doesn’t hold back.
The format, which has aired over 550 series in 67 countries, still holds its most iconic place in UK pop culture.
