Following in the footsteps of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, the rumours surrounding Mouni Roy’s wedding festivities continue to circulate.
In the latest development, Mouni Roy is speculated to tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend Suraj Nambiar on January 27, 2022.
The actress was first rumoured to marry her Dubai-based banker boyfriend in January 2021, however, Mouni denied such reports saying that she is “sick of rumours and speculations”.
Contrary to the initial rumours surrounding the location of the wedding, Mouni will not be tying the knot in Dubai, where her to-be husband Suraj Nambiar is based.
A source close to the actress has revealed that Mouni and Suraj will have a sea-facing beach wedding which will take place in Goa.
The source revealed: “A five-star resort has been booked as the venue.
“Although invites have started going out, the guests have been asked to be tight-lipped about it.
“All the guests have been asked to carry their vaccination certificates.”
The source added: “It will be a two-day ceremony.
“The pre-wedding rituals will take place on January 26 followed by a beach wedding on January 27.
“They have booked an entire five-star hotel in South Goa.
“The preparations are in full swing and supposedly it is going to be a white wedding and the entire venue is going to be decorated in white.”
The W Goa hotel near Vagator beach has reportedly been finalised as the wedding venue.
Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar’s wedding ceremony is also rumoured to be taking place in the afternoon.
Following the wedding, the duo is reportedly planning to host a lavish party on January 28, 2022.
The source further revealed that Mouni’s friends and dance reality show alumni Pratik Utekar and Rahul Shetty are rehearsing with the actress for a dance performance at the party.
Among the guests, Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor, Manish Malhotra and Aashika Goradia are some of the confirmed invitees.
Interestingly, Mouni Roy also recently held her bachelorette party in Goa.
The Naagin actress has been spotted flying to and from Mumbai and Goa, personally looking after the wedding arrangements.
The groom-to-be Suraj Nambiar is also in India and keeping himself under the radar.
On the work front, Mouni Roy will next be seen in Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt.
The actress was last seen in the 2019 comedy film Made In China.
