"She is great. I feel at peace with her."
Bollywood star Aamir Khan is set to marry his girlfriend Gauri Spratt in what is expected to be an intimate ceremony.
According to a report, the wedding is scheduled to take place on July 5, 2026.
The ceremony will be an extremely private and low-key affair attended only by close family members and a handful of trusted friends.
A source close to the couple confirmed that the event would be a simple signing at home rather than any kind of grand or lavish celebration.
It revealed: “Aamir and Gauri have been living together as a family for a little over a year now.
“They have built a happy, stable life together and decided to mark it formally with their families present.”
Aamir had himself spoken openly and warmly about his relationship with Gauri in an interview back in April 2026.
He described meeting her as a fortunate and life-changing event, speaking with a rare and unguarded candour about what she means to him personally.
“I am very fortunate that I met Gauri, and our relationship started together. She is great. I feel at peace with her.
“Although my relationship with (ex-wives) Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta was also very deep, but things didn’t work out.”
He went further, describing his feelings about Gauri’s presence in his life in terms that left little doubt about the depth of his commitment to her.
“When you asked, I felt that I am very blessed that Gauri entered my life. We are very happy together.
“I feel like I have finally become whole now.”
His words resonated widely with fans and painted a picture of a man who has found genuine contentment and peace.
Aamir first publicly introduced Gauri Spratt to the media on his 60th birthday in March 2025 at an event held in Mumbai.
Since that introduction, the couple has been seen together at various public events, appearing comfortable and happy in each other’s company.
This will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage, following two relationships that ultimately ended in separation.
His first marriage was to Reena Dutta, whom he parted ways with in 2002 after years together as one of Bollywood’s earliest celebrity couples.
From that first marriage, Aamir has two children: son Junaid Khan, who has since made his own entry into the film industry, and daughter Ira Khan.
He then married acclaimed filmmaker and director Kiran Rao in 2005, a union that brought a rich creative and personal partnership to his life.
Aamir and Kiran separated in 2021 after 16 years of marriage, announcing the news themselves in a joint statement.
Despite the separation, the two have continued to co-parent their son Azad and have maintained a warm and collaborative relationship.
The upcoming July ceremony, small and private as it will be, marks a new and significant chapter in Aamir Khan’s life.
