According to a report, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have ended their relationship.
There have been numerous rumours that the couple are splitting.
Arjun and Malaika put an end to the speculation by going on a romantic holiday, sharing pictures throughout.
However, the rumours continue and a report has claimed that their four-year relationship has now come to an end.
A source told BollywoodLife: “It’s been more than six days, Malaika Arora hasn’t stepped out from her house. She has totally gone into isolation.
“It is said that she is extremely sad and has decided to stay away from the world for a while.
“While Arjun Kapoor too hasn’t visited her even once in these days. In fact, Arjun was spotted just three days ago at sister Rhea Kapoor’s house for dinner.
“Rhea’s house is extremely close to Malaika’s house and despite that, he didn’t go and meet her after dinner.
“Malaika usually attends these family dinners with Arjun but this time she was not seen with him
“Arjun always makes sure that he visits Malaika’s house if he is nearby but the day he went at sister Rhea Kapoor’s house for dinner, he didn’t visit Malaika’s place and rather came back home.
“The couple who usually go out on dinner dates or coffee dates have stopped everything.
“This clearly hints that all is not well between the couple.”
The report led to a lot of reaction from social media users.
Some were gutted while others decided to troll the couple.
Arjun Kapoor later addressed the rumours, emphatically shutting down any talk that he and Malaika have split up.
Dismissing the “shady rumours”, Arjun posted a picture of himself and Malaika.
He wrote: “Ain’t no place for shady rumours. Stay safe. Stay blessed. Wish well for people. Love y’all.”
Malaika reacted with a heart emoji, confirming that they actually are still together.
The couple also received love from the likes of Tara Sutaria and Bhumi Pednekar.
Another source also shut down the rumours that Malaika isolated herself, revealing that she was out walking her dog a few days ago.
But due to the increasing Covid-19 numbers in India, she has spent more time at home.
Arjun Kapoor previously spoke about the 12-year age gap in his relationship, for which he faces criticism.
He called it a “silly thought process” to “contextualise a relationship” based on age.
Arjun said: “Firstly, I think that the media is the one who goes through the comments from people.
“We don’t even look at 90% of it so the trolling cannot be given so much importance, because it’s all fake.
“Those same people will be dying to take a selfie with me when they meet me, so you cannot believe that narrative.”
