Between the 19th-20th February 2018, the world of Hindi cinema descended to UAE to celebrate a lavish Bollywood wedding! This time, they celebrated actor Mohit Marwah’s marriage to long-term girlfriend Antara Motiwala.
Tying the knot at the Waldorf Astoria in Ras Al Khaimah, the two-day event defined glitz and glamour!
While Mohit hails as an actor, he’s also a member of the celebrated Surinder Kapoor family. His mother is Reena Kapoor, sister to Anil, Boney and Sanjay. He is also cousins to Sonam, Janhvi, Khushi, Arjun and Rhea.
Of course, this meant the large family gathered to celebrate, bringing many other famous personalities to the luxury wedding. In particular, Sonam brought along her boyfriend Anand Ahuja.
The guest list included the likes of Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Shweta Bachchan and many more.
As the festivities ran, the stars took to social media, sharing various images and videos. They even created a special hashtag for the happy couple – #antumoh!
Speaking of Mohit and Antara, they turned heads with their wedding garments. The bride looked particularly enchanting in a pastel pink lehenga, detailed with floral patterns and decadent embellishments.
Her jewellery looked radiant under the light, highlighting its vivid colours and metals. Meanwhile, Mohit donned a smart, ivory sherwani with flower necklaces hanging around his neck.
They posed for pictures with Sridevi, Boney and Khushi, who all wore fabulous outfits. Sridevi and Khushi also followed with the pastel theme, donning lehengas with light green and turquoise hues.
One notable absence from the wedding was Janhvi, Sridevi’s eldest daughter. While she was undoubtedly missed, it seems she’s still busy with filming her debut flick Dhadak.
Many of the stars also wore stunning costumes for the Bollywood wedding. Some wore colourful gowns, as others opted for monochrome styles. Karisma Kapoor dazzled in a white Manish Malhotra lehenga, decorated with gold embellishments.

Shweta Bachchan and Karan Johar also looked sublime in their ivory/golden garments and complemented each other wonderfully.
While one could easily compare the wedding to a fashion show, another highlight of the event was the partying. And our favourite Bollywood stars certainly know how to celebrate in style!
They danced to performances by Arjun Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor.
