Mehazabien Chowdhury has secured bail after surrendering before a Dhaka court in a case accusing her of issuing threats and disrupting public order.

The order came from Magistrate Afroza Haque Tania of the Executive Magistrate Court Three.

The case had been filed by a man named Amirul Islam, who accused Mehazabien and her brother Alisan Chowdhury of intimidation.

News of arrest warrants against the siblings spread rapidly across social media earlier, creating confusion as users speculated about the nature of the allegations.

The actress responded to the uproar shortly afterwards, insisting that the accusations were entirely fabricated.

She stressed that they had no connection to her real-life circumstances.

Mehazabien emphasised that the claims circulating online were damaging and distressing.

She also claimed they appeared suddenly without any prior communication from the complainant.

Case documents showed that the information listed for the accused, including the address and father’s name, matched Mehazabien’s official identification details.

Court officials stated that the arrest warrants had been issued on November 10, 2025, after both siblings failed to appear on the scheduled date of attendance.

The court also assigned December 18, 2025, as the deadline for authorities to submit an execution report regarding those warrants.

The complainant, Amirul Islam, alleged that he had known Mehazabien and her family for a long period.

During this, she encouraged him to invest in what he believed was their new business venture.

He claimed that he transferred a total of 2,700,000 taka to the actress and her relatives.

According to his statement, he was assured of becoming a partner in the venture once the business began operating.

Amirul further alleged that on March 16, 2025, he was confronted by Mehazabien, her brother, and several unnamed individuals at a restaurant.

He claimed they used offensive language and threatened him with serious harm if he continued asking for updates about the investment.

He said that when he went to the Bhatara Police Station to seek help, the officers there advised him to pursue the matter in court.

Following this recommendation, he filed the complaint before the Dhaka Executive Magistrate Court under preventive sections related to security and public safety.

Members of the media attempted to contact Amirul for clarification after the warrant news broke.

Fans of the actress expressed confusion online as they waited for an official update from either side regarding the credibility of the claims.

Mehazabien Chowdhury shortly surrendered before the court, and her legal team successfully secured her release from custody through a bail order.

Sources close to the case said the court will continue reviewing the complaint while awaiting the next scheduled date of proceedings.
