"Elvish Yadav tried to break my spine"
In a shocking development, YouTuber Maxtern filed a police complaint against social media influencer Elvish Yadav.
In his complaint, Maxtern claimed Elvish attempted to break his spine and render him disabled, sparking widespread outrage.
The Gurugram police have registered a case against Elvish Yadav following the complaint.
The YouTuber claimed Elvish and a group of men attacked him, leaving him with injuries.
Maxtern further alleged that Elvish issued death threats, leaving him in a state of distress and fear for his safety.
The FIR, registered under sections 147, 149, 323, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), highlights the severity of the incident and calls for immediate legal action against Elvish Yadav.
In his statement to the police, Maxtern detailed his interactions with Elvish, noting that tensions had escalated in recent months due to alleged hate speech and propaganda spread by Elvish Yadav’s fan pages.
The attack is said to have happened after Maxtern made fun of Elvish’s friendship with Munawar Faruqui.
Footage circulating on social media showed Elvish and a group of men beating the lone YouTuber.
The incident appeared to have taken place inside a store.

Maxtern expressed concerns about his safety and called for a thorough investigation into the matter.
Taking to X, Maxtern posted a video recounting the events leading up to the assault and criticised the inclusion of bailable charges in the FIR.
He said: “I was asked by Elvish Yadav to meet, but I thought it was about verbal discussion.
“When he came to the store, he and his 8–10 goons, who were drunk, started beating me and using abusive language.
“Elvish Yadav tried to break my spine so that I would become disabled.
“All 8–10 people came at 12:30 am on March 8, 2024.
“Elvish Yadav, before leaving, threatened to kill me, and I was almost unconscious.
“I request to investigate this matter and (take) action according to the law under culpable homicide of Section 308 and 307 of the IPC.
“I want my medical examination to be conducted through police.”
He questioned the decision-making process and raised doubts about potential influences from the Haryana government.
Maxtern appealed to authorities, including Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Gurugram Police, to amend the FIR with non-bailable charges for attempted murder and to apprehend Elvish without delay.

Claiming what Maxtern told him, Elvish said:

Elvish added: “Will you give them a matchstick and ask them to go ahead and burn you and your family alive? Won’t you get angry?”
