Mariyam Nafees has revealed that she is expecting her first child, announcing the news with a photoshoot.
The actress shared the heartwarming news with her followers on Instagram, posting a series of photos alongside her husband, filmmaker Amaan Ahmed.
The couple wore matching white T-shirts and caps, with Mariyam’s pink headwear reading “mom” and Amaan’s with ‘dad’.
She also shared a glimpse of the ultrasound, requesting her fans to keep them in their prayers during this special time.
In the caption, she expressed her excitement, writing:
“Oh, baby! We’re having a baby!!! Baby AmYam coming soon, InshAllah!”
In addition to the carousal, Mariyam also shared an adorable clip of her husband holding baby trainers as she intertwined his fingers with him.

Interestingly, Mariyam Nafees’ pregnancy announcement came just weeks after she gave a fiery response to an unsolicited comment about starting a family.
This was after a post in which she shared pictures from her trip to Abu Dhabi with her husband and friends.
A social media user questioned why she had not yet planned for a baby, asking:
“It has been so many years since your marriage. How much more time do you need to love each other? Just make a baby already.”
Mariyam swiftly responded: “Why? Are you a professional babysitter? Do you need a job?
“When will we learn to not be personal? By ‘we’ I mean Pakistani awaam.”
Her response was a clear message against the intrusion of privacy, calling out the need for respect and better manners.
Mariyam and Amaan, who tied the knot on March 25, 2022, in a private Nikkah ceremony, celebrated their second wedding anniversary with sushi and games.
Their relationship began on the set of an advertisement shoot, where they first formed a close friendship that blossomed into love.
