"Does he also not perform good?”
Despite gaining fans for his unfiltered thoughts, Tabish Hashmi faces criticism for his bold and sometimes inappropriate jokes.
Recently, a video clip of him is circulating on the internet.
It has garnered significant attention due to the considerable backlash it has sparked from the public.
As the PSL is underway, Tabish is hosting a special PSL transmission on Geo.
In the viral clip, Mariyam Nafees, serving as the co-host, was engaged in a dialogue with Tabish Hashmi.
He then asked her a question regarding her favourite PSL team.
In response, Mariyam Nafees expressed her preference, stating:
“I like Peshawar Zalmi, then other teams, and then Karachi is my last choice because their performance is not good.”
However, things took a turn when Tabish, in reaction to Mariyam’s response, made a remark about Mariyam’s husband.
He said: “Your husband is also from Karachi. Does he also not perform good?”
This particular comment has stirred significant discontent and sparked criticism, further intensifying the public reaction to the clip.
He has faced serious backlash for making such remarks on national television. It is a platform with a massive viewership.
Fans expressed their displeasure, condemning him with strong language.

They argued that this kind of comedy is not only cheap but also merits a sense of shame rather than enjoyment.
One viewer said: “Hate to see an educated lad on television throwing out such kinds of jokes.
“You are nothing but a male version of a stage dancer.”
Another commented: “The joke isn’t even funny. It is irrelevant to this situation as well.”
Supporters of this sentiment believe that Tabish Hashmi should be held accountable for crossing boundaries.
One stated: “Tabish is too cheap sometimes, he should be ashamed of this.”
Another asked: “I thought this was supposed to be a family show?”
One remarked: “He is so shameless, talking to a woman like that on television. Imagine what he does off-screen.”
One said: “Imagine if someone asked your sister this same question.”
While some may not appreciate his humour, Tabish’s fearless approach has made him a distinctive figure in Pakistan’s comedy scene.
He is a talented host and comedian, who became famous through Nashpati Prime’s To Be Honest show on YouTube.
This success led him to the satirical show Hansna Mana Hai on Har Pal Geo.
