Marina said that while she initially found the drama captivating, she felt disheartened by its prolonged storyline, criticising the practice of dragging out plotlines in dramas.
Marina said: “There is one very popular play because of which I’m hurt.
“Because they are dragging the play and destroying it. It was so good.”
She was then asked: “Marina, you’ve been doing a show where you provide a critical analysis on plays and dramas.
“How do you deal with that? How do you watch all the shows?
“You know most of the actors; does it not make it hard to comment on them?”
Marina replied: “No one minds constructive criticism.
“They just say that we actors should not do it to other actors. This is an issue. But I am loving it.”
Despite the norms, Marina adopts an unconventional approach and gives unbiased criticism in the hope of making the industry better.
She added: “I can not topple the system, I can just make it better.”
Marina Khan and Shehnaz Sheikh discussed the challenges of filming romantic scenes.
