Liam Payne’s ex-fiancée has named the One Direction star alleged to have thrown him against a wall.
In 2022, Liam claimed that he once got into a physical altercation with one of his bandmates during a very heated exchange but declined to name the individual.
Now, however, Maya Henry—who dated Liam on and off for four years—has alleged that the bandmate was Zayn Malik.
She made this revelation in response to a TikTok user who speculated about the mystery, stating, “You can’t convince me it wasn’t Louis.”
Maya, 23, expressed that she “could not hold this information any longer,” explaining:
“I see this all the time, everywhere. I’ve heard this insufferable story so many times… he told me it was Zayn, so…”
Liam originally shared the story two years ago on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, discussing how he was known for “not taking s**t,” which sometimes caused tension.
He recounted: “There was one moment where there was an argument backstage, and one member in particular threw me against a wall.
“So I said to him, ‘If you don’t remove those hands, there’s a high likelihood you’ll never use them again.’”
He noted that his bandmate eventually removed his hands.
During the interview, the ‘Bedroom Floor’ singer admitted that there are “many reasons” why he dislikes Zayn.
He stated: “There are many reasons why I dislike Zayn, and there are many reasons why I’ll always, always be on his side.
“If I had to go through what he went through during his growth and whatever else…
“You know, are your parents very supportive? My parents are overly supportive to the point where it’s annoying at times, and they don’t even mind me saying that. Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense.”
Along with Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, Liam, Niall Horan, and Zayn were formed into One Direction when they auditioned as solo artists on The X Factor in 2010.

Liam and Maya were first linked in 2018 but split abruptly in May 2022.
Their breakup came less than 18 months after the singer proposed to the model with a £3 million ring in August 2020.
The couple first met at a One Direction meet-and-greet when Maya was 15 years old.
Zayn was most recently seen at an Off-White show during New York Fashion Week, seated alongside Camila Cabello and Paris Jackson.
He sported a noticeably different look as well; the former One Direction star has now embraced a ‘dad-core’ style, sporting a bushy beard and long, grown-out hair.
He has fully adopted this ‘dad-core’ lifestyle, spending much of his time tending to his farm animals on his ranch in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and looking after his daughter, Khai, whom he shares with his ex, Gigi Hadid.
