A tweet by user @karanchaudharii has gone viral after it compared Camila Cabello’s Met Gala look to Kareena Kapoor in the hit film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Camila wore a glittery purple crop top and skirt by Michael Kors and Shawn Mendes stood beside her in an open, black leather jacket.
The tweet quickly gained attention and has since amassed over 12k likes.
In the tweet, a photo of Camila and Shawn was placed next to a photo of Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.
Kareena wears a glittery, halter-neck top with purple trousers and matching accessories.
The Havana singer’s outfit was also abundant in purple sequins.
The 24-year-old’s Met Gala look was said to have taken inspiration from 1920s-era flapper fashion with sequins and feathers.
Both of the outfits are sleeveless and have interesting cutouts.
Kareena’s top is cut from the side of her stomach whereas Camila’s top and skirt left a triangular cutout over her midriff.

The 2001 romance/musical film is often deemed as a classic Hindi film and the fan base remains strong.

For many 90s kids, Pooja Sharma aka Poo was a major style icon while growing up.
