The 2017 Met Gala theme, under the Comme des Garçons label, was inspired by the Japanese fashion designer Rei Kawakubo.
Fashion lovers joyed over the creations on display at the red carpet of Met Gala 2017, with many adventurous ensembles.
While many of the stars experimented with striking artistic sculptures, with respect to art, Priyanka Chopra led the red carpet with a trench coat that carried a floor-sweeping train. She was joined by Deepika Padukone, in a straight silky gown, with side slits.
These Bollywood divas have often been compared to each other, be their fashionable styles or their choice of films.
But this time, Padukone pulled off a rather simple, yet, a sleek and angelic look in her Tommy Hilfiger gown. Meanwhile, on the other hand, Chopra took the event by storm with her dramatic, yet rather distinct, Ralph Lauren coat dress.

Making a great use of the staircases at the Met Gala 2017, Priyanka was surely attention-grabbing while climbing up in her double-breasted black buttoned coat.
Featuring pointy high-collars at an angle, the upper part of the coat dress was extremely noticeable, giving a gothic vampire appearance.
Sweeping along the Met Gala 2017 red carpet, with her sleeves rolled up, neckline showing some skin and cleavage, Priyanka looked fun sexy, confident and a badass chic!
However, the detective coat look was not so glamorous and lacked the Met Gala glitz and glitter.
Yet, she perfectly pulled off an open coat look, with her well-toned collar bones. Additionally, her high-heeled black boots made her look military enough. This combination was further enhanced by a pair of dangling earrings and a high top knot bun.

On the other hand, Deepika looked a greek goddess in white, with diamante hair decorations and matching jewellery. Her dress was adorned with intricate details along the dress straps and bottom layer.
Looking pretty comfortable, in comparison to Priyanka, Deepika’s loose fitted gown had a small train. Yet, it failed to show off her figure and questioned the theme of Met Gala 2017.
Nevertheless, the dress married with her pulled back partitioned hair by Harry Josh Hair, and soft makeup added up to the entire outfit. And of course, her radiant smile surely matched the moonlight embellishments all over. She looked a queen!
