Komal Aziz Khan’s brand, Omal By Komal, has found itself at the centre of controversy following allegations of non-payment to a content creator.

Beauty and lifestyle blogger Usba Danish accused the brand of failing to pay her after she created promotional content for them.

In a detailed Instagram post, she said: “I have never had such a stressful experience before in my four years of content creation.”

She explained that the brand sent her a content brief, but no formal agreement or contract.

The influencer added: “They asked for the content on an urgent basis. I provided them with the video with my watermark.

“It was approved by their team. After that, they started ghosting me.”

Usba shared screenshots of her conversations with the brand, showing delays in payment and excuses from the team.

“They kept saying, ‘two to three days’ for weeks.”

After these accusations went public, other influencers also came forward with their experiences with Omal By Komal.

Beauty influencer Qirat Baber said: “I have worked with this brand in the past, and their entire team is so, so unprofessional!

“They delayed my payment, made me change my content repeatedly, and then the manager was extremely rude.”

Qirat added: “I received messages from people saying the brand delivers poor-quality outfits and has terrible customer service, so I took down my video.”

Humna Zahid, also weighed in, saying:

“I made the mistake of favouring them, and they completely took advantage of that. Yes, they’re pathetic.”

Former employees of the brand have also accused Komal Aziz Khan of fostering a toxic workplace.

One ex-employee revealed: “She held back salaries, exploited interns, and then laid them off after squeezing the most work out of them.”

Another user shared: “I was invited for an internship interview and asked to do a design test.

“Later, I saw elements of my sketches used in their new collection, without credit or follow-up. It felt like they just stole my work.”

In one of her Instagram stories, Komal wrote: “Another day, another toxic girl who doesn’t understand professionalism.

“You can continue using me for a few likes. This is called ‘sasti shohrat.’”

Her response sparked outrage, with one commenter stating: “There are too many people across platforms and capacities complaining about her.

“Everyone cannot be wrong. Stop playing the victim card.”

Another revealed:

“She has committed multiple frauds, from her landlord to designers and employees. The list goes on and on.”

Komal Aziz Khan has not directly addressed the allegations of non-payment but instead reshared a podcast on jealousy.

She wrote: “I am living an amazing life. You all hate yourself. And you hate me because I love myself.”

Many netizens thought her response was childish and irrelevant to the issue at hand.
