The trailer for the upcoming Pakistani anthology film Sheroes has been released, offering audiences their first proper look at the star-studded production.
The film stars Kinza Hashmi, Zara Noor Abbas and Ushna Shah, each leading one of three completely separate and standalone stories.
The trailer was released on Sunday by Sindh Films, a filmmaking initiative run by the Government of Sindh, in collaboration with Geo Films.
Sheroes is set for a nationwide theatrical release on September 18, 2026, making it one of the more eagerly anticipated Pakistani films of the season.
The trailer opens with Hashmi’s character seated in an art gallery, where paintings that may be fakes are being sold off to eager patrons.
She begins the teaser with an Urdu translation of the well-known saying:
“A lie will go round the world while truth is putting its boots on.”
The scene then shifts dramatically to Abbas, who plays a police officer, shown in a tense and high-stakes sequence as she works to defuse a bomb.
A montage of clips follows, introducing Shah as a determined boxer seen training intensely and then taking on a formidable opponent.
Abbas is also shown driving fast cars and arriving at a police station on a motorbike while wearing a leather jacket in classic cop fashion.
She is further seen shooting at villains in sequences that establish her character as a fearless and action-driven law enforcement professional.
Hashmi’s character is shown being applauded by gallery patrons, hinting at a story built around art and deception.

Shah’s segments are filled with the physicality and grit of her boxing world, with training montages and ring fights.
The trailer’s description has officially confirmed that Sheroes will be structured as an anthology.
Sheroes has been directed by Saqib Khan and Badar Mehmood, bringing two directors on board to handle the separate narrative threads.
Mohsin Ali, Hashim Nadeem and Amna Mufti worked on the project as writers, with Imran Hussain serving as producer.
The film follows closely on the heels of Sindh Films’ previous major release, Mera Lyari, which arrived in cinemas in May 2026.
Mera Lyari also centred on strong female protagonists and was well received by audiences looking for women-led Pakistani cinema.
That film featured Ayesha Omar as a football coach training girls in Lyari while Dananeer Mobeen played her protege.
The continued commitment of Sindh Films to female-centric storytelling suggests a deliberate direction for the government initiative.
With Sheroes, the initiative appears to be scaling up its ambitions in both production value and the calibre of talent it is attracting.
