Katrina to attend Cannes with Aishwarya!
It’s official (at least according to Twitter); Katrina will be joining the L’Oreal team on the Cannes 2015 red carpet.
The brand ambassador will make her debut alongside Aishwarya and Sonam Kapoor. Kat has even joined Twitter to build up all the Cannes hype under the username @KatrinaAtCannes.
It will be interesting to see who will get the most attention at Cannes, largely ruled by Ash in the past. Could Kat be on her way to steal the Cannes Red Carpet crown? And will beau Ranbir be on her arm? Hmm…
Bollywood Celebs Pray for Nepal
The tragic Nepal disaster has had all of us praying for the safety of those in Nepal. Tremors could be felt as far as Delhi.
Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Preity Zinta, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, and Parineeti Chopra tweeted their shock at the 7.9 earthquake and tweeted emergency contacts on their timelines.
Arjun Rampal also tweeted: “Freaky!!!! Felt the tremors of an earthquake here in Delhi. The whole room shook. My experience of a first earthquake. Hopefully the last one.”
Monika prays for the safety of all the Nepalese victims.
Deepika and Kangana ~ enemies or friends?
Kangana has certainly convinced all of Bollywood that she really is queen! Recently when Dips won ‘Best Popular Actress’, she dedicated her award to Kangana for Queen.
But Kangana has since admitted that she would have loved it more if Dips had called her personally to tell her: “I knew I was getting the award. I chose not to go there. So there is a reason behind it.
“And I did get genuine compliments from Shah Rukh Khan who called me directly, Salman Khan, Aamir sir called me directly. Amitabh Bachchan called me directly. Priyanka (Chopra) did. Everyone called me. But Deepika never called me directly.”

Zayn Malik to join Gurinder in films?
Twittersphere went potty ever since the famous SRK-Zayn selfie emerged from the Asian Awards. Zayn’s first public appearance (with a new haircut no less) could also potentially mark the beginning of a new career!
It’s no secret that Naughty Boy’s best mate crossed paths with hero SRK and director Gurinder Chadha. Chadha later admitted that Zayn trained as an actor before joining 1D, so acting may be on the cards:
“I don’t have a part in mind for Zayn just yet but hopefully in the future,” Chadha said. Eeek!
Katrina-Ranbir wedding ‘is possible’!
Kat has had a pretty vocal week in the run-up to her Cannes debut. While her and Sonam are getting particularly chummy by joking about lending each other red carpet outfits, Kat has been hit with the marriage question yet again.
Sonam saved Kat by saying they had decided that she would get married first. But Kat took the matter in her own hands and responded to journos: “Anything is possible.”
“I don’t have any plans yet, so I cannot share them with you currently. But if and when I do have plans of getting married, I promise I will tell you,” Kat added. Could a 2015 wedding be on the cards? We really hope so DESIblitzers!
Karan Johar threatens KRK?!
In a strange and almost absurd turn of events (even for Monika standards), self-proclaimed ‘film critic’ Kamaal R Khan insists he has been threatened by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap.
The filmmakers who are currently gearing up for their release of Bombay Velvet reportedly threatened KRK not to give any review of their film. Why, you ask? Darlings, we have absolutely no idea!
But that didn’t stop KRK launching into a full blown Twitter rant against the pair about being bullied out of B-Town. He even shared an image of the supposed text he received from Karan, which read:
“Listen KRK! I shall f*** your life if you will give review of my film Bombay Velvet. Karan.”
