Katrina Kaif’s look in upcoming 2018 film Thugs of Hindostan has supposedly been leaked. Reports suggest she will have a full role in the film, playing as a warrior princess.
The new speculation arisen after a source, claiming to be a unit hand from the film’s set spoke with Mid-Day.
This source revealed exciting details about Katrina’s look for the film, contradicting earlier reports that she would play as a dancer or a British woman. They revealed that the actress would star as a warrior princess, with her role described as “feisty”.
In their claims, they also revealed other intriguing details on her appearance. These include that Katrina Kaif will reportedly wear a nose ring and don smokey eye makeup. In terms of outfits, the source claimed that she will wear earthy colours, inspired by “the ghagra-choli“.
Even more exciting for fans will be the mention of sword-fighting. She will reportedly feature in some action scenes, of which include sword-fighting.
Speaking to Mid-Day, the source said in full:
“[Katrina] Kaif plays a desi warrior princess in the film. Her character is feisty. So far, she hasn’t shot for her action sequences, but there will a bunch of sword fighting stunts. She will be sporting a nose ring, wild loose waves and smokey kohled eyes.
Her Indo-western outfits will be in earthy colours like grey-ish brown, blue and black. Though they will be inspired by the ghagra-choli, they will be quirkier.”
However, officials from Thugs of Hindostan have so far not confirmed these latest reports. Meaning, these latest claims simply add more fuel to the film’s rumour mill.
But if these claims do contain some truth to them, it would not act as a big shock. Earlier, lead star Aamir Khan hit headlines for his nose stud, a new piercing for his role in the action film.
Fans loved the new look, so these leaks of Katrina’s look are true, surely many will wait eagerly to see the transformation themselves.
Other actors also lined up for the film include the legendary Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh who will also star in lead roles.
With the film currently shooting in Malta, it may be some time before Katrina Kaif’s final look is confirmed.
