"was captured by underworld mafia at 16."
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut constantly makes headlines by expressing her views and feelings on social media.
Now, a recent tweet from Ranaut recalls her journey to becoming the successful Bollywood star she is today.
She revealed that her father refused to help her on her journey to fame and that she bought her first house in Mumbai without help.

Her tweet is in response to Twitter’s recent ‘At 21’ challenge.
The challenge began after 21-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi was arrested by Delhi Police.
Videos of the arrest went viral. Since then, people have been recalling their own lives at the age of 21.
Kangana Ranaut is facing some backlash as a result of the tweet. She has quickly become the target of trolls on the social media platform.
One Twitter user said: “At 21, I used to like this certain actress but now she has just become very irrelevant and stupid.”
“From a National award winner to a National nuisance, the journey has been rather quick!”
A third said: “She could have been an inspiration to millions but chose to be a joke…
“It’s all about the choices you make.”

One user even spoke directly to her by stating: “Your father saw at 15 what we all see now…”
Kangana Ranaut is due to appear on screens again with her upcoming flick Thalaivi.
She will be playing the role of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
Kangana Ranaut is currently shooting for Razneesh Ghai’s action film Dhaakad.
However, her filming rights have come under jeopardy by her controversial tweets on the ongoing farmers’ protest in India.
Just recently, Kangana Ranaut was told by Congress leaders in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul district that she must apologise to Indian farmers for her tweets about the protest.
If not, they threatened to prevent the Bollywood actress from filming Dhaakad.
