The highly anticipated film Jongli, starring Siam Ahmed, Shobnom Bubly, and Prarthana Fardin Dighi, is slated for release soon.

It is set to premiere in theatres across Bangladesh this Eid-ul-Fitr.

However, ahead of its local debut, the film is also preparing for a global release, bringing Bangladeshi cinema to international audiences.

Siam Ahmed recently shared a poster announcing that Jongli will be screened in multiple countries beginning on April 25, 2025.

He wrote: “This film is not just releasing in Bangladesh; it’s making its mark on the world map.”

His words sparked excitement among his fans.

According to Zahid Hasan Abhi, head of The Abhi Kathachitra production house, the film is set to premiere in multiple countries.

This includes the United States, Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK, New Zealand, Sweden, Italy, France, Germany, Malaysia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Oman.

The film’s international release is being managed by distributors Swapno Scarecrow, Bongoj, Reverie, and several other companies.

Directed by M Rahim, Jongli promises a fresh cinematic experience.

The film has already generated buzz, with fans eagerly awaiting its release.

Adding to the anticipation, the film’s song ‘Jonmo Jonmo’ was recently released.

The song was written and composed by Prince Mahmud and the track features the vocals of Tahsan Khan and Atiya Anisha.

The musical arrangement was made by Imran Mahmudul.

‘Jonmo Jonmo’ has received positive feedback, further heightening excitement for the film’s release.

Siam Ahmed’s look in Jongli has also been a major talking point, drawing praise from audiences and critics alike.

The film’s promotional material has hinted at an action-packed storyline, though further details about the plot remain under wraps.

It is worth noting that Jongli was originally slated to release on Eid-ul-Azha 2024.

However, the release was delayed due to Cyclone Remal, which disrupted the shooting.

On top of that, the crew members also reportedly fell ill due to the extreme heat.

Fans are hoping the release will go smoothly, without further delays this time.

With its local and international release plans in place, Jongli is shaping up to be a major cinematic event for Bangladeshi audiences worldwide.

Fans eagerly await its theatrical debut, expecting a film that not only entertains but also elevates Bangladeshi cinema on the global stage.
