The release date for the highly anticipated film Chokkor 302 was announced with a unique teaser.
The announcement for Chokkor 302 was an unconventional one, as director Saraf Ahmed Zibon opted for a playful yet gripping reveal.
Instead of the usual first look, the promotional video introduced a staged scene featuring the director himself.
The video opens with Zibon tied up, duct tape covering his mouth.
Mosharraf Karim enters, visibly annoyed, and mocks the director’s attempt at acting.
His voice dripping with sarcasm and frustration, he says:
“Zibon, you’ve started acting now. Even though you can’t act, people have accepted you.
“If the audience approves, there’s nothing we can do about it.”
But why was he so upset? The revelation follows soon after.
Zibon had allegedly been stalking Mosharraf Karim, sending people to track his whereabouts.
He kept tabs on whether he was at home and even dispatched spies to his film sets.
The motive behind this was to ensure that Mosharraf actively promoted Chokkor 302.
But Mosharraf Karim looks unimpressed. He asserts that his job is done—he has acted in the film, and now, promotion is not his concern.
Addressing his assistant, he instructs them to remove the duct tape covering Zibon’s mouth for a moment, adding a darkly humorous remark:
“If he suffocates, we could be charged under Penal Code 302.”
Taking advantage of the brief moment of freedom, Zibon argues that the responsibility of promoting the film shouldn’t rest solely on his shoulders.
However, his plea is short-lived. Mosharraf quickly orders his assistant to reapply the tape before turning to the camera.
With a direct, authoritative tone, he announces that Chokkor 302 will be released this Eid-ul-Fitr.
Mosharraf ends the video with a clever nod to the film’s central theme, saying:
“Everything will be revealed—teasers, trailers, and songs. But Zibon, you won’t be released.”
This announcement, though humorous, encapsulates the essence of Chokkor 302.
The film follows Mosharraf Karim as an investigator tasked with solving a murder case.
Alongside him, Reekita Nondine Shimu plays his wife, adding emotional depth to the gripping storyline.
