"Any guesses? It's Kusha Kapila apparently.”
Rumours have circulated that Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora have split up.
Reddit users have also suggested that the actor has moved on and is now dating social media personality Kusha Kapila, who went through her own breakup.
Earlier in August 2023, a Reddit user wondered if Arjun and Malaika were on the verge of breaking up as the former had gone on holiday on his own.
The user wrote: “A solo weekend vacation while she’s shooting, omg things must be pretty bad between them.”
While not much was made about the solo holiday, one Reddit post has claimed that the couple are no longer together.
The post read: “Guys just got tea from someone who works closely with them, they (Arjun and Malaika) have broken up and he’s already dating someone.
“Any guesses? It’s Kusha Kapila apparently.”
The claim shocked many Reddit users and they began highlighting factors to try and support it.
One person said: “Omg I just checked, Malaika hasn’t liked any of Arjun Kapoor’s posts since July.”
Another user believed Arjun and Kusha were hooking up as opposed to being in a relationship, writing:
“Seems like a friends-with-benefits thing, they’re both freshly out of long-term relationships.”
Assuming that the rumours were true, one person blamed Karan Johar and said:
“What is seriously wrong with Karan Johar? What kind of sadistic pleasure he is deriving from this? Assuming all these claims are true.”
Another user added: “What’s weird is that people actually get influenced by him.
“It’s one thing to suggest two people getting together but it’s another to actually do it.”
Some pointed out a picture from a party at Karan Johar’s house from July.

Arjun was at the party while Malaika was not. Kusha had also attended the gathering.
The photo showed the group posing for the camera while Arjun appeared to be looking at Kusha, leading to the rumours.
While Arjun Kapoor has not reacted to the rumours, Kusha refuted them and said:
“Every day I read such nonsense about myself that I will now need to introduce me to myself formally.
“Every time I read sh*t about myself I just hope and pray my mother does not read it.”
In June 2023, Kusha announced that she and husband Zorawar Ahluwalia had separated. She wrote:
“Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways.
“This hasn’t been an easy decision by any measure but we know it’s the right one at this point in our lives.
“The love and life we have shared together continues to mean everything for us but sadly, what we seek currently for ourselves doesn’t align. We gave it our all until we couldn’t anymore.”
Meanwhile, both Kusha and Arjun will be starring alongside Bhumi Pednekar.
Kusha will be in Thank You For Coming while Arjun will star in the noir thriller The Ladykiller.
