BBC Asian Network’s flagship live music event, Asian Network Certified, is returning to Birmingham for a night filled with high-energy DJ sets and unforgettable performances.
The event takes place on Saturday, November 15, at XOYO Birmingham, running from 7 pm until midnight in what promises to be a standout evening for Asian music.
Birmingham’s own DJ and producer Dr Zeus will headline, supported by a stellar line-up of exclusive live DJ sets and special guest appearances.
Artists confirmed include AJD, Dipps Bhamrah, DJ Limelight, Dr Zeus and friends, Junglebandi, Kizzi, Manara, MR.O and DJ Kades, Nav Mischief, and Ramnik.
Asian Network’s Nikita Kanda and Haroon Rashid will host the night, guiding audiences through a showcase of diverse sounds championed by the station and its DJs.
The music will span British Asian favourites, UK Garage, Punjabi Hip-Hop, R&B, and Bollywood beats, capturing the essence of the station’s broad and dynamic playlists.
Dr Zeus expressed his excitement, saying: “I’m gassed to be headlining Asian Network Certified in my hometown, Birmingham, it’s going to be a massive night!
“I’m really looking forward to dropping all my bangers from way back when to now and bringing along some surprises on the night.
“Birmingham always brings the energy, and I can’t wait to shut it down.
“A massive big up to Asian Network who have really supported and championed me throughout my career…let’s make it a night to remember!”

“Asian Network Certified has always been about celebrating British Asian identity, culture, and music, and I’m thrilled to bring that energy to Birmingham.
“This year feels especially significant as we settle back into Birmingham with the whole station now broadcasting from here.

“This night is for everyone who loves what we do on-air and our amazing DJs and artists behind them.

For those unable to attend, BBC Asian Network and BBC Sounds will broadcast highlights from the night on Friday, November 21, starting at 6 pm.
Despite the name, BBC Asian Network covers only the Indian subcontinent, with the rest of the continent, such as Japan and China, not covered by the station.
