"Do we actually need to leave the room?"
Married At First Sight UK’s Steven and Nelly have flown to Montego Bay, Jamaica, for their honeymoon after celebrating a wedding that was described as pleasantly perfect.
The couple, matched by experts Paul C Brunson, Charlene Douglas, and Mel Schilling, appeared delighted with the decision to bring them together for the experiment.
Before the ceremony, both were nervous to meet, but Steven was mesmerised when Nelly, real name Neelima, arrived down the aisle on a flower-adorned doli.
Their first impressions were positive, with Steven exclaiming, “What an entrance”, while Nelly commented on his height, breaking the ice before they shared their thoughtful vows.
The ceremony ended with a sweet kiss as they walked back down the aisle, celebrating the moment with family and friends who cheered them on.
Steven later admitted to feeling nervous about telling Nelly that he has two children, but she reassured him, appreciating his honesty and the openness he had shown so early.
In a first-look clip, the couple were in awe when they entered their five-star honeymoon suite at a luxurious Jamaican beachside hotel.
Standing on the sand, Nelly told cameras, “I’ve never stayed somewhere so nice, it’s gorgeous,” before spotting gifts of chocolate-covered strawberries waiting in their suite.
Smiling, she said: “Can’t say no to a chocolate-covered strawb,” while Steven cheekily responded: “I mean, I’ll feed you one in a minute.”

Reflecting on their growing bond, Nelly told producers, “Being on the honeymoon with Steven, it makes me really happy. It feels like we’ve known each other for ages.”
The pair were left speechless after seeing their bedroom, with Steven asking: “Do we actually need to leave the room?” and Nelly adding: “I think not,” before kissing.
Steven could not hide his feelings, telling viewers: “Since the wedding, the feeling there is growing.
“It’s definitely exceeding my expectations, the whole journey so far.”
He added, “At this moment in time, I think Nelly and I are a perfect match,” praising their chemistry and the connection already building between them.
The episode teaser also showed the couple kayaking together, before exchanging endless kisses on the beach, looking very much head over heels.
While the chemistry is undeniable, viewers will have to wait to see whether Steven and Nelly continue to grow stronger in the coming episodes.
Nelly, a 30-year-old cosmetic dentist from Manchester, is one of the South Asian contestants bringing fresh representation to the new series.
After stepping back from relationships, Nelly decided she was finally ready to find love, entering the show with a clear vision of what she wanted.
She explained to producers she is seeking someone “not intimidated by a woman who knows exactly who she is,” showing determination and self-assurance.
With her strong personality and Steven’s openness, fans are excited to see how their relationship develops on one of the UK’s most talked-about reality shows.
