Indian Husband & Friend took Obscene Photos of Wife

A man and his friend have had a case filed against them after they took obscene photos of his wife and uploaded them to social media.

The police case was registered at Raipur Police Station, Chhattisgarh.

The matter came to light when the woman found out about the photos. She approached the police and told officers.

She explained that she had a court marriage with the man even though her family were against their relationship. However, their marriage deteriorated shortly after.

The woman filed for divorce in 2019 and the matter is under consideration in court.

In April 2019, the husband had taken several objectionable photos of his wife and shared them on social media.

When she found out, the woman went to the police.

A case was not registered after the husband had promised to come to a compromise in front of the officers.

It was decided that the woman can take legal action if she chooses to in the future.

According to Superintendent Shweta Choubey, obscene photos of the woman were shared on WhatsApp on February 22, 2020.

The woman discovered that her husband and his friend had taken them on December 2, 2019, without her knowledge.

A few hours later, the husband sent the lewd photos on WhatsApp to his friend.

At that point, the woman decided to file a police complaint. Based on the woman’s statement, officers registered a case against the husband and his friend.

The investigation is ongoing as police are working to arrest the two suspects who are currently on the run.

Cases of photos and videos taken without consent are common in India.

One incident involved a father and son. The son had filmed a nude video of a female student before his father shared the footage.

The boy had been harassing the 14-year-old girl and frequently followed her.

He intimidated her into giving him her phone number. The boy then began calling her.

While home alone, the boy entered the girl’s house and forced her to strip naked. He then told her to perform obscene acts while he filmed her.

A few days later, the boy showed his father the footage. The father then shared the video on several WhatsApp groups. The victim’s parents found out about the incident when they heard about a viral porn video.

Officers located the father and son’s whereabouts and they were arrested.

Following their arrests, the father was remanded in judicial custody while the son was sent to a juvenile home in the city of Hoshiarpur, Punjab.
