Indian Couple get Romantic on Moving Motorcycle

An Indian couple performed a public display of affection but it was a dangerous one as it was on a moving motorcycle.

The incident happened in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh at around 2 am on April 26, 2023.

Another motorcyclist rode beside the distracted lovers and filmed them. The video was uploaded onto social media, resulting in police attention.

The young man was riding his motorcycle while his girlfriend straddled and faced him.

She had her arms around him as they passionately kissed and hugged. At the same time, their motorcycle travelled at speed along the quiet road.

They were so focused on their embrace that they did not notice another motorcyclist filming them.

The other motorcyclist followed the lovers and even rode beside them but the couple did not notice them.

The lovers initially were not arrested for dangerous driving because the officers usually posted in the area had been called somewhere else to catch a drink driver.

As a result, officers were not at the patrolling points.

However, they were caught after the video went viral.

Traffic DSP Sanjay Kumar Sahu explained that they took notice of the incident after coming across the video on social media.

Using the motorcycle’s registration plate, officers were able to trace the young man.

The man was called to the police station. However, he told officers that the person riding the motorcycle was actually his friend.

It was determined that the actual motorcycle rider was 19-year-old Rajesh Tiwari, a college student who lives in Tikrapara.

He borrowed his friend’s motorcycle to go on a late-night ride with his girlfriend.

At the police station, Rajesh was booked under the Motor Vehicle Act and was fined Rs. 8,800 (£86) for his dangerous antics. As he was charged, he repeatedly apologised for his actions.

Although the young woman was sitting in front of Rajesh and was kissing him, she did not face any action.

None of her information was collected and she was not called to the police station.

This has raised questions as to why she did not face action even though she was equally responsible.

Some people have suggested that the parents of the young woman should be called to the police station and warned so that the Indian couple did not repeat their dangerous PDAs again.
