"Sex is fantastic when you are in love"
Ileana D’Cruz has been circulating the media regarding her breakup from longtime boyfriend, Andrew Kneebone.
She is currently recovering her heartbreak and is trying to find her feet again in her personal life.
As a result of her breakup, Ileana has thrown herself into various activities to keep busy.
She has also been posting interesting quotes on her social media which fans were quick to notice. Most recently, Ileana appeared in interaction with Shibani Dandekar, on The Love, Laugh, Live show.
The actress candidly spoke about numerous things that have importance in her life.
For example, she disclosed her dearest friends in Bollywood, reasons why she is a nerd, how she got into acting and her fondness of singing.
Ileana D’Cruz recently made headlines when she commented about sex having nothing to do with love.
Allegedly the actress stated that sex should be enjoyed with some emotions. Host Shibani asked Ileana to clarify what she meant by this. She explained:
“Maybe it was taken out of context. Maybe I have read some quotes that I have apparently said something like I’ve said that I enjoy having sex and I have sex as a workout.
“I am like, that just sounds wrong. I mean, I think you should enjoy sex but there has to be some amount of emotion to do it. Sex is fantastic when you are in love because then it is to souls.”
Ileana continued to mention how she reacts while approaching men. She said:
“I get extremely shy. I hate saying it because it is extremely clichéd but I am the definition of a nerd. Not a geek, but I am a nerd.
“I am cocky, I am awkward, I will say stupid things and I will do everything in my power to make me look horrible. So, it just never works.”
Ileana D’Cruz went on to speak about her heartbreak coping mechanism.
She is focusing on herself, cutting out sugar from her diet and is working out.
Ileana mentioned how it is important to take time out to focus on yourself and that is exactly what she is doing.
On the acting front, Ileana D’Cruz is set to feature in Anees Bazmee’s film, Pagalpanti which will release on November 22, 2019. The film includes John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Kriti Kharbanda in the leading roles.
