Tevar (January 9, 2015)

Directed by Amit Sharma, Tevar stars Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. Boney Kapoor is producing the film for his son Arjun. There is a new pairing of Arjun-Sonakshi, and singer Imran ‘Amplifier’ Khan, makes his musical Bollywood debut.

Baby (January 23, 2015)

This film became the hottest trend on Twitter even before the trailer came out. Akshay Kumar will yet again be seen fighting terrorists in this Nishikant Kamat directed film.

Shamitabh (February 6, 2015)

The Director of Paa and Cheeni Kum brings us yet another Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Shamitabh. The highlight of the film is the lead actors Dhanush and Kamal Hassan’s daughter, Akshara Hassan making her debut. Bachchan will be seen lending his voice to Dhanush who reportedly plays a deaf and mute junior artiste in the film.

Roy (February 13, 2015)

Roy stars Arjun Rampal, Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandes, and is directed by Vikramjit Singh. The star cast says it all – the steamy and mysterious love triangle between the three will be something interesting to see.

NH10 (March 6, 2015)

NH10 marks actress Anushka Sharma’s first production with her company Clean Slate Films. The film is based on a couple’s road trip gone awry and stars Anushka in the lead role opposite Neil Bhoopalam.

Phantom (April 3, 2015)

Directed by Kabir Khan, Phantom stars Saif Ali Khan opposite Katrina Kaif. The film is about post 26/11 attacks in Mumbai and global terrorist threats.

Gabbar (April 3, 2015)

Gabbar is an upcoming Hindi action drama film directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Featuring Akshay Kumar in the title role, Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Nikitin Dheer will appear in supporting roles.

Piku (April 30, 2015)

Piku sees Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone under the direction of Shoojit Sircar. Sircar has directed films like Vicky Donor and Madras Café. It will be interesting to see the father daughter relationship between Amitabh and Deepika!

Bombay Velvet (May 15, 2014)

This neo noir film will see Ranbir Kapoor in the role of a boxing fighter and Anushka Sharma as a jazz singer. Karan Johar will make his full fledged acting debut (again) in a negative role.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film had actually been delayed in its release by a year so that attention to detail could be given in the post production process of the film.

Welcome Back (May 29, 2015)

A sequel to the super hit and hilarious Welcome, this multi-starrer film will show John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Shruti Haasan, Sara Loren, Paresh Rawal, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah, Shiney Ahuja, Ankita Shrivastava in a similar madness to the last one.

Dil Dhadakne Do (June 5, 2015)

This all-star cast sees Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah under the direction of Zoya Akhtar.

Zoya notably directed the feel good film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and the star-studded ensemble only add to the expectations! The cast play a dysfunctional Punjabi family on a cruise trip.

Hamari Adhuri Kahani (June 12, 2015)

Hamari Adhuri Kahani is a Bollywood romantic drama produced by Mahesh Bhatt and directed by Mohit Suri.

Starring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan, and Rajkummar Rao, it is based on the love story of Mahesh Bhatt’s parents.

ABCD 2 (June 26, 2015)

ABCD: Any Body Can Dance (2013) unknowingly became a hugely successful dance film. With Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and the Las Vegas location, the sequel directed by Remo D’Souza only promises to be bigger and better.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan (July 16, 2015)

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an Indian romantic drama film directed and co-produced by Kabir Khan. It features Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles, and deals with the romantic relationship between a Muslim man and a Brahmin woman.

Brothers (July 31, 2015)

Brothers stars Akshay Kumar, Siddarth Malhotra, and Jacqueline Fernandes. This sports drama film is about two estranged brothers in a martial arts competition.

Fan (August 14, 2015)

With Shahrukh Khan, Vaani Kapoor, and Ileana D’Cruz, anticipation for King Khan’s Fan release is already high.

Has a SRK film ever flopped in recent years? Maneesh Sharma has directed the quirky Band Baaja Baaraat and Shudh Desi Romance.

Jagga Jasoos (August 28, 2015)

Jagga Jasoos, shot in Cape Town, is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Anurag Basu, featuring Govinda, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Katrina undertook training in Israeli martial art Krav Maga for her role in the film.

Singh is Bling (October 2, 2015)

The Prabhu Deva-Akshay Kumar combination worked wonders in Rowdy Rathore, and audiences will get to see Akshay being paired with the quirky Kriti Sanon from Heropanti.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (November 1, 2015)

The winning combination of Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya has seen trendsetting hits like Main Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hain. Along with the return of ‘Prem’, it will see the return of Sooraj Barjatya to direction after nearly 8 years post Vivah.

Bajirao Mastani (December 25, 2015)

Bajirao Mastani is an upcoming Hindi period romance film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is based on the love story between Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao I and his second wife Mastani.

The film stars Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra. We’ve already seen a lot of chemistry between the reported couple, Deepika and Ranveer. With Priyanka in this film also, it will only add to the flames!

Tamasha (December 25, 2015)

Tamasha is an upcoming Hindi romantic film directed by Imtiaz Ali, and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Ranbir plays a hippie, going out of his way to please people. They form a troupe of sorts to stage dramatic plays and also fall passionately in love.

Our favourite Khan’s, Kapoor’s and Bachchan’s are coming to us with brand new films, songs and entertainment! It looks like 2015 will be another spectacular year for Indian cinema.
