1. Fix Lipstick with a Lighter
Lipstick is great, until it breaks and you’re left wondering what to do with it.
However this is where lighters come in handy. First use a lighter to heat the bottom of the broken piece. Then reattach it, hold it in place and leave to cool in the fridge.
2. Use Coconut Oil as Makeup Remover
Makeup remover tends to run out at the most inconvenient times, however if you have coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil lying around then you’re in luck.
Just use either of these oils on a cotton pad and use it to remove your makeup, in some cases this works better than traditional makeup wipes.
Coconut oil is also really great as a moisturiser for your body, and even for your hair. Or even try adding salt into it for the perfect DIY body scrub.
3. Avoid Blisters with Deodorant
Blisters are a painful side effect of walking with heels, to stop this experience from happening to yourself – rub clear deodorant on your heels to stop the friction.
4. Use Banana Peels for Teeth Whitening
Whiten your teeth with banana peels – yes, you read that right.
Simply rub your teeth on the inside of a peel, for about a minute and let the residue sit for 10 minutes. Once you’re done, grab a dry toothbrush and start brushing.
Do this a few times a week, and you’ll see results – this is a great alternative to using chemicals.
5. Treat Pimples with Mouthwash
Pimples can be both embarrassing and painful, simply dab some Listerine mouthwash or even use toothpaste to reduce that bad boy and watch it fade away.

Dark marks are always a hassle, and not every has bio oil on hand, but have no fear, you can use Sudocrem.
It’s not just for nappy rashes, but an effective treatment for dark marks.
7. Cut your Nails while Wet
When cutting your nails, wet your finger tips and the nail clipper. This will stop any nails from flying around and make the nail cutting experience so much easier.
8. Wash your Hair with Beer
Last but not least, wash your hair with Beer – we know it sounds crazy. But you’d be surprised how soft it leaves it your hair.
