It was reported that gunshots were fired outside AP Dhillon’s home in Vancouver, Canada, sparking widespread unease.
Shortly after the incident on September 1, 2024, a man named Rohit Godara claimed responsibility.
Godara is believed to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Godara also declared the gang’s involvement in shootings at two Canadian locations on September 1 – Victoria Island, where Dhillon resides, and Woodbridge, Toronto.
According to reports on social media, gunshots were audible in the vicinity of Dhillon’s residence in the Victoria Island region.

Following the firing, Rohit Godara threatened AP Dhillon with dire consequences unless he abided by certain boundaries.
He hinted at consequences as severe as a “dog’s death”.
The threats were connected to AP’s collaboration with Bollywood icon Salman Khan, escalating tensions.
Godara wrote: “On the night of September 1, shots were fired at two locations in Canada. Victoria Island (BC) and Woodbridge Toronto.
“I, Rohit Godara (Lawrence Bishnoi), take responsibility for both incidents.
“The house at Victoria Island belongs to AP Dhillon. He is feeling very elated after taking Salman Khan in his song.
“We came to your house. You should have come out and shown us your actions. The underworld life that you copy are what we live in daily life.”

Lawrence Bishnoi is locked in a Gujarat jail, but he still successfully organized an attack on Punjabi singer AP Dhillon.
Recently, one of his videos also went viral. In the video, he was talking to a Pakistani gangster over a video call from jail itself.

The incident occurred shortly after the singer’s music video release for ‘Old Money’, featuring Salman Khan.
The gang’s previous actions included a shooting outside Gippy Grewal‘s abode in Vancouver, Canada.
This took place in the White Rock neighbourhood back in November 2023.
In April 2024, two motorcycle-bound assailants believed to be affiliated with the Bishnoi gang fired gunshots outside the Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, Mumbai.
This apartment is owned by Salman Khan. The assailants fled after the incident.
According to the NIA, Salman Khan is one of the gang’s top targets.
This vendetta traces back to Salman Khan’s alleged involvement in the contentious 1998 black buck hunting incident.
It is also alleged that the gang was involved in the demise of Punjabi artist Sidhu Moose Wala.
Canadian law enforcement agencies are delving into the authenticity of these claims and the reported shootings.
However, no official statements have been issued regarding the incident or the potential risks faced by AP Dhillon.
