TV actress Donal Bisht has hit out at the rumours linking her to Bigg Boss 19 contestant Abhishek Bajaj, threatening legal action.
Reports claimed Abhishek was dating Donal while he was still married to Akanksha Jindal. The claims spread quickly across gossip portals and social media, fuelling widespread speculation.
A source claimed to News18: “Abhishek and Donal were together for a short period of time.
“They were dating while Abhishek was married to Akanksha.
“But their relationship did not last long because it looked like Abhishek wasn’t serious. They also broke up soon.”
The rumours intensified after Akanksha reportedly made comments during Abhishek’s stint on Bigg Boss.
Her remarks led some fans to assume Abhishek had been romantically involved with Donal during his marriage. Social media users and fan pages then amplified the claims, without verified information.
Donal initially remained silent on the matter but she has since taken to Instagram, slamming the dating rumours.
The actress wrote: “I was shooting out of town and didn’t have the time to look into this, so now that I’m back I have only one thing to say: stop dragging my name into unnecessary b******t.
“If you don’t know the truth, don’t comment or spread fake rumours, because I will not tolerate it.
“Any false allegations or defamation will face strict legal action.”
Donal followed with a firm statement about her name being misused:
“People just use you, or your name, for their own benefit, and I’m done with it. I’m aware now, and I’m happy that I’m useful!”
She also reminded followers of the work she has put into her career, adding:
“I have worked hard to build my name through all the work I’ve done over the years.”
“I’m a respectable girl from a good family with solid moral values.
“I’m here to work, not to be part of anyone’s drama. I’m in this industry because of my love for cinema, for creativity, and for the craft God has destined me for – that’s all I know.
“Please spare me from these fake narratives. Thank you, and see you soon on screen!”
Although Donal Bisht, who is best known for her role in Ek Deewaana Tha, has dismissed the rumours, Abhishek Bajaj has not addressed the matter.
