"he seemed very angry.”
Behroze Sabzwari has found himself at the centre of a major controversy following remarks he allegedly made about former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Imran Khan, who is currently incarcerated in Rawalpindi’s Adiyala Jail, has been enduring significant challenges over the past two years.
Although Imran Khan has not issued any statements regarding the incident, public sentiment has largely deemed Behroze’s comments to be offensive and baseless.
Behroze Sabzwari appeared on a controversial episode of the FHM Pakistan Podcast, hosted by Adnan Faysal.
Behroze claimed he and Imran had consumed alcohol.
This statement sparked widespread outrage, prompting the temporary removal of the interview from YouTube.
However, the episode was later reinstated.
Addressing the escalating situation, Behroze Sabzwari spoke with Ali Dar.
During this conversation, Behroze vehemently denied the allegations, labelling the interview as edited and defamatory.
Ali Dar said: “Behroze Sabzwari said that Imran Khan does not drink alcohol or use cocaine.
“I talked to Behroze Sabzwari on text and call as well and he seemed very angry.”
Ali proceeded to show screenshots of the chat. He has asked Behroze if his statement on Imran Khan was true.
Behroze replied: “Fake and rubbish.”
He expressed his intention to pursue legal action against the FHM Podcast, accusing them of manipulating his words and misrepresenting his statements.
Behroze promised to issue an official statement to clarify his position and address the accusations directly.
Ali explained: “Sabzwari said that he will file a defamation case and take them to courts.
“He would have them pay for what they have done and have their YouTube channel closed because they have tampered and misrepresented his words.
“You can see in the video that there are a lot of cuts.”
“His statements were mixed and edited into something entirely different from what he said.”

Behroze’s strong denial and plans for legal recourse suggest that the issue may evolve further.
Adnan Faysal commented: “Eid Mubarak in advance. See you sir!”
A user wrote: “I heard from Sarfraz Nawaz that Imran Khan never drank alcohol while other cricketers used to drink.
“There is another video of Imran Khan’ almost 30-35 years old where he said that he believes that his decision to never to touch alcohol in life at an early age was a very good one.”
On the other hand, a user said: “Behroze Sabzwari is acting like he was held at gunpoint to talk about alcohol. There is no editing, his words were clear.”
One said: “I think he himself was high during the podcast.”
Another commented: “He is called out for his embarrassing words.
“Instead of apologising, how can he deny everything this way? I know AI is good, but it is not this good yet. He can not escape what he has said.”
