"Wembley Stadium, for the first time"
Diljit Dosanjh will headline Wembley Stadium on September 12, marking his largest European concert to date.
The show will make him the first Indian and first Punjabi artist to headline the iconic London venue.
Diljit announced the news during his performance in Toronto on May 31 at the Rogers Centre.
In a video on Instagram, he announced the tour date, eliciting huge cheers from the crowd.
He referenced joining the ranks of Michael Jackson, Queen and Prince as past stadium headliners.
Diljit said: “Wembley Stadium, for the first time in the history of South Asian artists, especially Punjabis, Wembley Stadium London.”
Wembley Stadium continues to host global acts, with upcoming performances from Harry Styles, My Chemical Romance, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd and Bon Jovi.
Indian artists have enjoyed success in the UK in recent years.
Arijit Singh became the first Indian artist to headline a stadium show in the UK at the neighbouring Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2025.
Badshah became the first Indian rapper to headline The O2 in March 2026.
Diljit Dosanjh now becomes the latest milestone act in the UK stadium circuit.
Diljit last performed in London in October 2024, when he headlined The O2. The Wembley show marks a significant step up in scale for the Punjabi star.
Tickets for the Wembley Stadium concert go on sale with an artist presale on June 10 at 10 am. General sale begins on June 12 at 10 am via Live Nation.

Diljit Dosanjh is currently touring with his Aura world tour, which began its North America leg in Vancouver in April.
The run has included two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden and will conclude at Chase Centre on June 20 and 21.
Diljit released his 15th studio album Aura in 2025. He also released a new version of ‘Senorita‘ with J Balvin in January.
Diljit has made waves on the international stage, having made his Met Gala debut in May 2025.
In April 2026, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new EP The Call of Panjab.
He also enjoyed a lighthearted moment with Jimmy Fallon, teaching the host Bhangra.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Main Vaapas Aaunga is set to release on June 12.
